Stuart Palestrant is the owner of Wendel's Jewelers and he has been with Wendel’s for over twenty-five years. He is a Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society (AGS) and has been an AGS member since 1972. Stuart attended the Gemological Institute of America where he received his Graduate Gemologist Diploma in Residence. He is also a former president of the Ohio Guild of the AGS as well as being a former president of the Ohio Jewelers Association.

Jon Palestrant is a Certified Gemologist Appraiser w/AGS. Graduate Gemologist Diploma in Residence program at the Gemological Institute of America, along with the Jewelry Arts Program. He has a graduate Gemologist/Jeweler degree from there along with his AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser designation. He was the 2nd youngest to ever receive the AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser.
